Questions for Disney's The Lion King JR.
Lion King Jr.
I am very interested, and received a license for Lion King Jr. However, in reading through the license, I realize it states that only children in 8th grade and younger may perform in it. This was supposed to be for our summer children's theater camp program, but I have teen interns in grades 9-12 that work with the students and also perform with them. Is there any way to get exception from the rule?
Digital scripts / scores Lion King
Is it possible to get digital versions of the scripts /scores so we can extract words for our ensemble children? We don't have enough books for everyone but need children to learn the words.
Djembes
Do we get to keep the djembe's or need to return them after the show for Lion King, Jr.?
Lion King JR - Making the sun rise!
Hello!
I am producing "The Lion King JR" with my middle school drama club.
I am looking for some suggestions on how to easily make the sun rise without using a projection.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
Stacey
High/Middle School Licensing
In the Non-School Production section of the restrictions for Lion King it mentions performers must be in 9th grade or younger. There is no mention of a grade restrictions for high school/middle school performances. Our productions include both high school and middle school students. Is it correct to assume that this restriction does not apply to school productions?
If you are a non-school organization (i.e. Children’s Theatre, Community Theatre, Professional Theatre) you must adhere to the following in addition to the above restrictions:
- All performers must be in 9th grade or younger
Thank you!
